This is Dan Sweeney with HomeBin Discount Realty.  I want to introduce you to a new program that we're launching called HomeBin University.  A couple of weeks ago I was trying to buy a digital camera, and I was looking online for different reviews, information, prices, comparing models, etc. etc.  And I came across this really helpful website that gave video reviews on each product.  And it was really helpful.  It was unbiased, honest, and they told you the good, the bad and the ugly of each one.  They allowed you to make a decision for yourself, you could figure it out by yourself, what was the best camera for you to pick.

And it kind of hit me at that point.  Why is it that I'm spending a couple hundred dollars on a camera, and I have this great resource…but when it comes to houses I don’t have anything NEAR that?  It’s such a bigger decision, where I need a lot more information than a couple hundred bucks for a camera.  But there’s really no place I can go to get unbiased honest real information that can help me in the buying/selling process.

So that’s when we decided to launch this curriculum that we're naming HomeBin University.  So each day in your email from us you're going to be getting a couple of articles with a 3-5 min video in them that talks about some concept of real estate.  Maybe its going to be about picking the best mortgage, what towns work for me, what do I need to watch out for with home inspections, what are the tax advantages of ownership, how do I time the buying and selling of a house, what are the new condo developments coming on the market.

All this kind of information that is really needed to make an informed decision we're going to put online in a video format where you can learn these things at your leisure so that when you begin working with us you already know and are up to speed with everything you need to know.  And we're hoping it’s going to be a really good resource for you.  And we encourage you when you come across a video that you find interesting...email the video to a friend.  Send it to somebody that you think may benefit as well.  And if you come across something that you don't understand, send us a question and we'll do a video on that as well. 

We're just looking to put out this resource to help people become educated buyers and sellers to give them the best experience possible.  We look for your feedback and hopefully you'll enjoy.
