Leominster is a medium-size community situated 50 miles northwest of Boston and providing for its residents and businesses a semi-rural setting with free access to anywhere in Massachusetts on Route l-190 and Route 495.  Residents are very proud of the mix of small town friendliness and character with the strong industrial and retail base which makes the community a magnet for shoppers from all the surrounding towns.

The city also prides itself on its excellent cultural mix and on the school system residents describe as the most important city service.
